LA Central Library Turns 90!

It has been 90 years since LA's Central Library was built. In 1921 a bond was passed to start construction on the beloved library. The building has stood as the focal point of LA's local library network spanning 73 buildings, servicing the largest population of any library system. They long lived building has gone through some remodels, and face-lifts; the most recent of which was completed in 1993.
