Giant Space Shuttle Tank Arrives in L.A.

One of the huge 15 story tall fuel tanks from the sadly defunct space shuttle program has arrived in Marina Del Rey.  This massive tank was never used on a space mission, but instead has taken a very different journey that those of its kind. This tank has sailed more than 4000 miles from the East coast through the Panama Canel en route to its final destination at the California Science Center.

When we first opened our doors in 1989 the aerospace industry was the primary industry we serviced. Since then we have seen the industry diminish in size here in Southern California, but we will always have a soft spot for aerospace.
